Founded in early 2022 by Xiaopeng He, Brian Gu and Bing Yuan, Rockets Capital is a China-based private equity firm focused on venture and growth stage investments, with offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Its strategic anchor investor, XPeng Inc. is a leading Chinese smart EV company that designs, develops, manufactures and markets smart EVs. The USD Fund I has attracted a number of leading institutional investors, such as IDG Capital, eGarden, Sequoia China, 5Y Capital, and GGV Capital.

Focusing on investments in the Smart EV industry value chain, clean energy and frontier technology areas, its portfolio includes: ZVision, InventChip, Breton, Sunwoda EVB, XPeng HT Aero, Autra Tech etc.
