The next big frontier for consumer tech
Healthcare is among the least digitised consumer categories, but things are starting to change. The market is heavily regulated, but increasingly embracing things like telemedicine and predictive diagnostics. Pressure from ageing population, spiralling costs and staffing shortages are driving that. Now, increasing awareness of pandemic risks in a globalised world may well accelerate that change further (similar to remote working).
