Vertical Health Solutions

In 2000, a company called Vertical Health Solutions was founded with a specific focus: developing MRI quality assurance software for hospitals and imaging centers. They operated on a Software-as-a-Service model, giving clients browser-based access to quality control data, images, and analytics. The goal was to help healthcare providers ensure their medical images were of the highest possible quality. While the original founders' names are not prominently documented, the company established its headquarters in Oldsmar, Florida. A pivotal moment arrived on April 15, 2011. Vertical Health Solutions engaged in a significant corporate maneuver with a privately-held Minnesota company, OnPoint Medical Diagnostics. OnPoint was a development-stage company working to commercialize MRI quality assurance technologies that had been developed by the Mayo Clinic. The two companies executed a reverse merger. In this transaction, the private company, OnPoint, became a wholly-owned subsidiary of the public entity, Vertical Health Solutions. Following the merger, OnPoint's business became the sole operation of the combined company, and its executive team and board took control.
