In a significant strategic move, USA.NET merged with Perimeter E-Security in January 2013, rebranding as SilverSky. This merger combined USA.NET's email expertise with Perimeter's managed security services, creating a comprehensive Security-as-a-Service platform. The unified entity, SilverSky, expanded its portfolio to offer a suite of cloud-based security solutions, including email protection, data loss prevention, network security, and managed application services.
