Shanghai Huanshang Electronic Commerce Co., Ltd. operates Shandjj.com, also known as Lightning Drop (闪电降价), a flash-sale e-commerce platform in China. The company was established on October 30, 2015, with Shi Fugui as the legal representative. The mobile application focuses on limited-time sales of goods primarily in the apparel, footwear, bags, accessories, and digital product categories.
The platform's business model is centered on offering discounted products from a reported 3,600 international and domestic brands. The founder, Zhang Zhengping, was previously the CEO of "Maikfeng," a brand inventory sales platform under Baozun E-commerce, which was the predecessor to Lightning Drop. Zhang is also known as the CEO of Taojiji, another e-commerce venture.
The company has gone through several funding rounds. It secured an angel round in February 2016 from Maikfeng. This was followed by a Series A round in October 2016, raising tens of millions of RMB from investors including Qingsong Fund and K2VC. In August 2017, the company raised an undisclosed amount in a Series B round from K2VC and Evolution Media China.
