ZTRUS, officially Accomate Co., Ltd., is a Thai startup founded in 2019 that specializes in document process automation through artificial intelligence. The company offers a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that provides automated data entry services using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and AI-based cognitive templates. This technology is designed to extract, validate, and classify information from various types of structured and semi-structured documents, including those without fixed templates, in both Thai and English.

The company was co-founded by CEO Panachit Kittipanya-ngam and CTO Ithipan Methasate. Panachit, who comes from a family of accountants, holds a PhD in Computer Vision from the University of Manchester and is a former president of the Thailand Tech Startup Association. His background provides him with a deep understanding of the challenges in business workflows and document management. Ithipan holds a PhD in Machine Learning and OCR and has over 20 years of research experience in these fields at the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC).

ZTRUS operates on a SaaS business model, providing its services on both cloud and on-premise platforms. The company serves a diverse client base that includes government sectors, insurance companies, financial institutions, accounting firms, and businesses in retail, e-commerce, and logistics. Its solutions aim to significantly reduce labor costs and increase workflow speed for clients. Specific applications include automating accounts receivable/payable processes, processing hospital insurance claims, and integrating with Electronic Content Management (ECM) systems. The company initially focused on accounting solutions before expanding its vision after participating in the Dtac Accelerate batch 7 program.

Since its inception, ZTRUS has achieved several milestones, including receiving a Seed Round investment in April 2020 from NVEST Venture and securing further backing in January 2023 from investors like the Digital Economy Promotion Agency and InnoSpace Thailand. The company has been recognized with awards such as the Thailand ICT Award in 2022 for its research and development.
