Zeus Interactive, also known as Beijing Tianshen Hudong Technology Co., Ltd., is a Chinese game development studio founded in March 2010 by Zhu Ye. The company specializes in the research, development, and publishing of web-based and mobile online games.
Initially focusing on web games, Zeus Interactive launched several popular titles including 'Aojian' (傲剑), 'Feisheng' (飞升), and 'Cangqiong Bian' (苍穹变). These early successes established the company as a significant player in China's web game market. 'Aojian', its first product, underwent a development cycle of over a year with multiple technical and planning reconstructions before its successful launch. By 2012, the company began its expansion into the mobile gaming sector. Its business model revolves around developing games and partnering with major distribution platforms like Tencent, Baidu, and 360 for publishing. The company also distributes its games in overseas markets, including Taiwan, Vietnam, and South Korea.
The company has experienced several funding rounds, including a Series A in October 2011 and a Series B in September 2012. In 2014, Zeus Interactive went public on the A-share market through a reverse takeover of Dalian Koro冕 Wood, subsequently renaming the listed entity to 'Tianshen Entertainment' (天神娱乐). Under the Tianshen Entertainment umbrella, Zeus Interactive operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary. In its journey, the firm also acquired the application distribution platform 'Aisi Helper' (爱思助手) in early 2015 to secure a user entry point.
