The company has raised approximately $1.38M to $3.45M through investors like Portugal Ventures, Faber, and Shilling. In June 2021, Zaask was acquired by Worten, a major electronics and home goods retailer and part of the Sonae Group, a move intended to enhance its service quality and security. Following the acquisition, Eswaran exited the company and later founded Eleos, an insurtech startup. Zaask continues to operate as a distinct brand, now endorsed as 'by Worten'.
