YoRide

YoRide, a venture by the Bengaluru-based startup Dhii Systems, was established in 2014 by founder Murali Tirupati. The company operates as a ride-hailing aggregator, consolidating various intra-city transportation options into a single mobile application.

The platform serves city commuters by providing access to a wide array of transport services. This includes booking rides on major platforms like Ola, as well as with local car and bike rental services, self-drive cars from providers such as Zoom, and auto-rickshaws through partners like Jugnoo. While users can view the availability and compare prices for services like Uber, the app redirects them to the Uber app or website to complete the booking. For most other integrated services, bookings can be made directly within the YoRide app without separate registration.

A significant feature of YoRide is its integration with public transportation. The company formed a partnership with the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), enabling users to access information on local bus routes directly within the app. This integration followed the implementation of GPS tracking across BMTC's fleet of buses. The business model focuses on providing a comprehensive transportation solution, aiming to capture a user base seeking convenience and comparative pricing across multiple modes of transit. As of mid-2016, the application had garnered over 6,000 users and was processing more than 200 transactions daily, with a notable 60% of users being repeat customers.
