Since 2007, the LLC has been an early stage and seed investor in Bay Area start ups. Xandex Investments is an active member of several Investment Groups and Business Incubators in the San Francisco Bay Area. We work within these groups and conduct independent research to identify potential portfolio companies, complete due diligence and structure deals. Over the decades of doing business globally, we have striven to be innovative, entrepreneurial, progressive, and ethical in all of our business endeavors. We hope to spread these values as wide and as far as we can with the help of a new generation of entrepreneurs. opportunities of interest We are a seed and early stage investor in emerging fields which we believe improve commerce and promote the well-being of individuals. Specifically we are seeking investment opportunities in mobile digital technology deployment for commerce, entertainment and digital health care; healthy lifestyles and eco-friendly products, and medical devices. Some past investments (and current portfolio companies) include ventures in Bio-Pharma and Renewables, however, we no longer participate in these investment classes. The LLC provides seed and early stage funding to promising ventures in Mobile Digital Technology, Healthy and Sustainable Lifestyles and Medical Devices. In addition to funding, Xandex Investments can provide its portfolio companies with assistance and seasoned resources for business development, engineering, and manufacturing. Xandex Inc. also develops products and offers services to worldwide customer bases in the solar energy and semiconductor equipment markets. Xandex Solar and Xandex Semiconductor divisions service customers in their respective markets throughout North America, Asia and the EU. Mr. Shamsavari holds an M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. He has international business development expertise in South East Asia and Japan and is currently focusing his efforts on managing Xandex Investments portfolio. Since 2007, Mr. Shamsavari has been a member and active investor at the Life Science Angels, Keiretsu Forum, North Bay Angels and HealthTech Capital. Prior to his work at Xandex, Shaheen worked at Gilead Sciences in Formulations and Process Development and focused on the preclinical development of HIV and Hepatitis C therapeutics. Mr. Shamsavari is a graduate from the University of California at Berkeley in Molecular and Cell Biology (B.S.) with a Neurobiology emphasis.
