Cairo-based Wuilt operates as a SaaS e-commerce enablement platform, primarily targeting the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Founded in 2019 by Ahmed Rostom, Mahmoud Metwaly, and Mohamed Hegazy, the company was born from the founders' recognition of the challenges small and medium-sized enterprises faced in creating Arabic-language websites. The company's strategic direction underwent a significant pivot in April 2025 when it transitioned from a subscription-based model to a free-to-use platform in its initial market of Egypt. These funds are earmarked for regional expansion, with plans to launch in the United Arab Emirates by the fourth quarter of 2025, followed by expansion into other GCC countries and Turkey in early 2026.
