Wittyfit, now known as Cegid Wittyfit, operates as a SaaS platform focused on monitoring and improving employee well-being and engagement. The company was founded in 2014 by Samuel Dewavrin and Thomas Cornet in Boulogne-Billancourt, a suburb of Paris, France. The platform was developed in collaboration with occupational health experts and human sciences researchers to provide a comprehensive view of management practices and empower employees to be active participants in a company's strategic projects.
The core of its business is a cloud-based application that allows organizations to measure and analyze employee sentiment, job satisfaction, and overall quality of life at work. It utilizes tools like real-time feedback, pulse surveys, and a social barometer to capture employee feelings confidentially. This data is then presented to managers and HR departments through analytics dashboards, enabling them to identify root causes of dissatisfaction, prevent psychosocial risks, and implement targeted actions for improvement. The platform is designed to serve all levels within a company: employees provide feedback, managers turn ideas into action plans, and HR departments track KPIs to pilot collective performance.
Wittyfit's business model is subscription-based, targeting primarily mid-to-large-sized enterprises (ETI) and large corporations across various sectors. Before its acquisition, the company had secured $550K in a seed funding round in November 2019 from Seed4Soft. In May 2022, Wittyfit was acquired by Cegid, a major provider of cloud management solutions, and was integrated into Cegid's Human Capital Management (HCM) business unit to complement its Talentsoft offering. At the time of the acquisition, Wittyfit had approximately 20 employees, 80 clients including Michelin and Cegid itself, and 120,000 users. Following the acquisition, the co-founders and their team joined Cegid to continue developing the product and expanding its reach internationally.
