Founded in 1985 by Chairman Metha Kornsantiwong, the company has a significant history of partnership and growth. A key milestone was the 1987 joint venture with H.J. Heinz Company, forming Heinz Win Chance Limited. In 2007, the founding shareholders reacquired all shares, and the company was renamed Win Chance Foods, continuing to act as the exclusive co-packer for Heinz products in the Asia Pacific region.

The company's business model is centered on producing a wide array of food products for other brands. Its client base includes major consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies and restaurant chains like Burger King, The Pizza Company, and 7-Eleven. More recently, in August 2025, Marubeni Corporation made a strategic minority investment to leverage Win Chance Foods' manufacturing capabilities and expand its sales network, particularly in Southeast Asia and India.
