In January 2019, Waymark acquired Enforcd, a financial software company. The firm raised $1.57 million in funding from investors including Credo Ventures, London Co-Investment Fund, and SFC Capital. In February 2024, Waymark Tech was acquired by Ascent Technologies, a Chicago-based AI compliance specialist. This acquisition combined Waymark's horizon scanning capabilities with Ascent's existing solutions, expanding the joint entity's regulatory coverage across the US, UK, and EU.
