Voltla is a Turkish technology company that has developed a mobile application to streamline the electric vehicle (EV) charging experience. Founded in 2022 by Esra Gül Korkmaz, Özgür Barış, and Rıdvan Korkmaz, the company originated from Akbank's Intrapreneurship Program and secured investment from Akbank+ in April 2023. The application serves as a guide for drivers, simplifying the process of finding and using charging infrastructure across Turkey. The platform is available for both iOS and Android and has been integrated with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to enhance the in-vehicle experience. By aggregating various charging networks, Voltla aims to alleviate range anxiety and make EV travel more convenient and secure.
