Vertown operates as a technology firm focused on the waste management sector, providing a digital platform for businesses to oversee and track their refuse from creation to final disposal. The company has secured $1.4 million in a seed funding round on February 12, 2024, with investment from corporate venture capital funds Açolab Ventures (an ArcelorMittal fund) and Irani Ventures. Vertown has managed over 6.7 million tons of waste in 2023 alone.
