Venturi Space specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced lunar mobility solutions for European and U.S. space exploration. The company has developed critical hardware—such as hyper-deformable wheels engineered in Switzerland and high-performance batteries produced in Monaco—for multi-purpose rovers. Its latest project, the 100% European-built Mona Luna rover, unveiled at the 2025 Paris Air Show, is designed for autonomous operations at the Moon’s South Pole by 2030 under the auspices of ESA and CNES. Mona Luna features solar recharge, multiple high-capacity batteries, thermal resilience for extreme lunar night conditions, and the ability to carry scientific payloads or aid astronauts in emergencies. Venturi Space also contributes to the development of FLIP and FLEX rovers—collaborating with Venturi Astrolab in the U.S.—with planned lunar deployments as early as 2026 (FLIP via Astrobotic/SpaceX) and 2027 (FLEX via SpaceX’s Starship), aimed at delivering scalable, crew-safe lunar terrain vehicles for Artemis-style missions.
