V8TE provides a self-service, secure online voting platform for businesses, associations, and communities. The company, which is based in France, launched its MVP in March 2020 and went live with its 100% self-service version in March 2021. The platform's co-founders are Guillaume and Bogdan, who serves as the CTO.

The service is designed for various uses, including general assemblies, board meetings, and shareholder votes, allowing for resolution votes, elections, and proposals. V8TE leverages Ethereum blockchain technology to decentralize the voting process, creating what it calls a "transparent digital ballot box". This system is certified to comply with the highest security level (Level 3) of the Council of Europe and is GDPR compliant. The platform supports features like proxy voting, multi-candidate selection, and weighted votes. Security options include two-factor authentication via SMS.

V8TE operates on a Freemium business model, which allows free use of all features for up to ten voters. For larger needs, it offers paid plans based on single events or annual subscriptions for both companies and non-profit associations, with pricing varying by the number of invited voters. The company serves over 10,000 B2B organizations in more than 130 countries. In November 2022, the startup announced a fundraising round of €550,000 from investors including INSEAD Business Angels and Arts et Métiers Business Angels, with support from Bpifrance, to accelerate its development.
