TSL Vanguard

TSL Vanguard is a family-operated haulage, warehousing, and distribution company based in Yorkshire, with depots in Leeds and Rotherham. The firm was established in 1968 by brothers John and Alan Liversidge, initially trading as Liversidge Brothers. It was renamed TSL Vanguard Ltd in 1982 following several company acquisitions and is now managed by the second generation of the family.

The company provides general haulage, distribution, and warehousing services to a range of commercial and industrial clients across the UK. Its customer base includes companies in the construction, engineering, and shipping sectors. The business model centers on supplying a diverse fleet of specialized vehicles and trailers, including articulated and rigid vehicles, low loaders with a capacity of up to 60 tonnes, flat and extending trailers, and lorry cranes. Some vehicles are also equipped with Moffett Mounty fork trucks. In addition to vehicle-based services, TSL Vanguard offers transport logistics, freight forwarding, and operates an Authorised Testing Facility (ATF).

In August 2025, TSL Vanguard, along with its sister company Specialist Trailer Hire, secured a £3.75 million funding package from NatWest to purchase additional premises and increase operational capacity. This financing consists of a £2.75 million invoice finance facility and a £1 million loan, aimed at supporting continued growth and meeting increased customer demand. The company holds certifications such as FORS Silver Accreditation and is Cross Rail Compliant, with drivers trained to CPCS or ALLMI standards.
