Originating from academic research at the University of Calgary, Trusted Positioning Inc. was established in 2009 by a group of PhD graduates. The founders, including Chris Goodall, Naser El-Sheimy, and Zainab Syed, leveraged their specialized research in Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) for positioning to launch the company.
