Travora Media, initially established as Travel Ad Network in 2003 by founder Bob Sacco, operated as a multiplatform travel and lifestyle media company. The firm rebranded in 2011, positioning itself as a significant travel information network headquartered in New York City. The company's core business was providing turnkey revenue solutions for an extensive network of travel publishers while offering advertisers targeted access to a substantial travel and lifestyle audience across desktop and mobile platforms. By 2013, the network attracted 30 million unique monthly visitors and represented leading travel brands such as Fodor's, Viator, and Vayama.

Revenue generation was centered on display advertising, enabling advertisers to target consumers based on demographic, geographic, and site-specific features. A key aspect of its service was tracking traveler behavior throughout the entire travel lifecycle, from the initial booking to the in-destination experience, serving advertisements at various touchpoints. This approach provided granular data insights, allowing for deep audience segmentation and more effective ad targeting for its clients. In an effort to expand its content and audience, Travora Media acquired Nile Media in 2012, which included travel content websites like NileGuide, 10Best, and Localyte.

In February 2013, Travora Media was acquired by AdVantage Networks, a digital advertising technology provider whose parent company was subsequently renamed MediaShift, Inc. The acquisition was part of MediaShift's strategy to combine Travora's publisher network and ad sales expertise with AdVantage's technology, particularly for monetizing private internet networks in places like hotels and airports. Travora continued for a time as an advertising sales and operations subsidiary under the MediaShift umbrella. However, the company has since ceased independent operations and is considered defunct.
