The system is engineered to work even in areas with no Wi-Fi coverage, such as stairwells and parking garages. A key feature is the ability to track an employee's location continuously if they are moving.

Beyond its primary safety function, the underlying IoT infrastructure supports several operational efficiencies for its clients. Hotels can leverage the same platform for tracking physical inventory like rollaway beds and cribs, monitoring the location of room service trays for faster pickup, and keeping tabs on vendors on the property. This multi-application approach allows hotels to maximize their return on investment from a single technology platform. TraknProtect generates revenue through the sale and implementation of its hardware and software solutions.
