Tian Tian Express is a Chinese logistics company founded in Hangzhou in 1994 by Zhan Jisheng. The company provides express delivery and logistics services across China.
Throughout its history, Tian Tian Express has undergone several ownership changes. In 2010, HNA Group acquired a 60% stake in the company. This was followed by an acquisition by STO Express in 2012 for 160 million RMB. In a significant move in 2017, Suning Commerce Group (now Suning.com) acquired the company for 4.25 billion RMB to enhance its own logistics network and last-mile delivery capabilities. Following the acquisition, Tian Tian Express's headquarters was relocated from Hangzhou to Nanjing in October 2017. However, after years of continued financial losses, Suning stopped the operations of Tian Tian Express in the second half of 2021. In August 2024, it was announced that Suning's logistics subsidiary would sell 100% of its equity in Tian Tian Express to Zhejiang Rongyue Express Co., Ltd. for 10 million RMB.
The company's history also includes service quality challenges. In 2017, JD.com stopped using its services due to poor performance, and it received a high negative feedback rating on Weibo the same year.
