Established in 2017 in Seoul, South Korea, The Satellite Brewing Company operates as an integrated craft beer entity, managing the entire value chain from raw material sourcing to the final product. The company commenced its operations in the Gasan Digital Complex in Seoul by importing essential beer ingredients, malt, and hops. It strategically secured sole distribution rights in South Korea for malts from Briess and hops from Hopsteiner, companies with extensive histories in the brewing supply industry. To enhance its craft beer offerings, The Satellite Brewing Company formed a partnership with the U.S.-based Short's Brewing Company to develop and design new beer recipes.

The company's business model is centered on providing craft beer at reasonable prices, focusing on quality and freshness through a cold chain process that ensures beer is packed on the same day it's brewed. This approach is designed to make craft beer more accessible to a wider audience. The company's primary market is in South Korea, where it is headquartered. In October 2021, The Satellite Brewing Company secured KRW 4.0 billion in a Series A funding round from investors including DASAN Networks and Magellan Technology Investment. The company also engaged in a corporate asset purchase with Oriental Brewery for a brewing plant in November 2020. However, as of January 2024, the company is listed as out of business.
