Telemetrik S.A.S. is a Colombian company specializing in the design and implementation of telemetry and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for resource management. Founded on September 15, 2006, the company originated as a university project at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Medellin, with an initial focus on telemetry for residential energy meters. A key achievement in its history was the development of a patented intelligent photocell for public lighting teleguidance in 2011, with support from Ruta N. The company also developed a flood forecasting project between 2012 and 2013 with support from Innpulsa Colombia, which utilized a neural network fed by remote river level and precipitation measurements.
