Szopi.pl was a Polish e-commerce platform specializing in on-demand grocery delivery, founded in 2015 by Jan Potworowski and Zbigniew Płuciennik. The company operated an online marketplace that allowed customers to order groceries from various popular supermarkets, even those without their own online shopping infrastructure, such as Biedronka, Lidl, and Carrefour.

The business model was based on a sharing economy solution, utilizing a network of personal shoppers, or "szopers", who would pick up and deliver the orders to customers' homes. This model enabled Szopi.pl to offer delivery within as little as two hours in major Polish cities, including Warsaw, Krakow, and Wroclaw. The platform generated revenue by charging a commission on the orders fulfilled. Customers would select a nearby store, fill their virtual basket online, pay for the order, and have it delivered.

Throughout its operation, Szopi.pl secured approximately $1.9 million in funding over several rounds from investors including Impera Alfa Alternative Spółka Inwestycyjna, Startup Spark, and Google's Launchpad Accelerator. A key figure in the company's later stages was Anna Podkowińska-Tretyn, an experienced manager in e-commerce and new technologies who served as the general director and later managed the integration with its future parent company. Her background includes an MBA from the University of Illinois and extensive experience in digital strategy for major media and tech companies.

In October 2019, Szopi.pl was acquired by its Italian counterpart, Supermercato24 (which later rebranded to Everli), for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition was a strategic move for Supermercato24 to accelerate its expansion into the Polish market, leveraging Szopi.pl's existing operations and customer base, which had already fulfilled over 100,000 orders. Following the acquisition, Szopi.pl became a subsidiary and was integrated into the Everli brand.
