In the year 2000, a company named IndexDigital Co., Ltd. was established in Japan, focusing on email marketing and system integration. This was the foundation of what would become a key player in the country's digital marketing landscape. A pivotal figure in this early stage was Masao Tashiro, who joined in 2001 and would later become the COO. JAPAN transferred its shares to a firm named Payforward in 2019, allowing Synergy Marketing to operate with renewed independence while maintaining a strategic business partnership with its former parent.
