Stairling

Stairling is a technology company, founded in 2024 and headquartered in Paris, France, that has developed a platform aimed at transforming the employment model for Vehicle for Hire (VTC) drivers. The company's core service provides drivers with a permanent employment contract (CDI), which grants them the security and social benefits of salaried employees while maintaining the flexibility of independent work. This model allows drivers to operate on multiple major ride-hailing applications, such as Uber and Bolt, through Stairling's single interface, thereby optimizing their work and potential income.

The business operates as a cooperative that handles all administrative, accounting, and tax-related tasks for its drivers, including social security (URSSAF) and VAT declarations, allowing them to focus on their driving activity. Stairling's platform also features tools for real-time activity tracking, including revenue, hours, and expenses. The company's revenue model is based on a service fee, which is a percentage of the driver's generated revenue. Stairling targets both new drivers, who can start working in under 48 hours without creating their own company, and experienced drivers seeking to transition from a micro-enterprise or SASU status to a more secure salaried position.

In June 2025, the company secured $1.73 million in a Seed funding round from investors including Plug and Play Tech Center, Kima Ventures, and Source Ventures. By 2024, over 500 drivers had joined the platform, which currently employs a team of around 20 people.
