Solutions Infini, founded in 2009, established itself as a cloud communications provider focused on the enterprise sector. The Bengaluru-based company was started by Aniketh Jain and Ashish Agarwal, who were college mates at Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College of Engineering. They launched the bootstrapped venture with an initial investment of Rs 4 lakh each from their parents. The founders identified a market need to bridge the communication gap between businesses and their customers, beginning with a focus on enterprise messaging and SMS gateway services.

The firm operates in the Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) market, providing a suite of tools for businesses to engage with their clientele. Its core offerings include application-to-person (A2P) messaging, voice-based solutions, and cloud telephony. The product portfolio features services like SMS verification, promotional messaging, two-way messaging, IVR, click-to-call, and call masking. This infrastructure enables clients in sectors such as financial institutions, e-commerce, logistics, and healthcare to manage customer interactions. Notable clients have included Flipkart, Ola, Swiggy, and several major banks. The business model is usage-based, charging clients per SMS or per minute for calls, while retaining a margin.

A significant milestone in the company's history was the strategic acquisition by the Italian company Ubiquity, which purchased a 51% majority stake in October 2016. This was followed by a full merger in June 2018, at which point the combined entity rebranded globally to Kaleyra. Aniketh Jain and Ashish Agarwal took on new executive roles within Kaleyra as Managing Director of the cloud business and Chief Technology Officer, respectively. The journey continued with Kaleyra's listing on the NYSE in 2019 and its eventual acquisition by Tata Communications in October 2023 for approximately $100 million.
