Sode, also known as Soldado de Entrega, is a Brazilian digital logistics platform founded in 2015. Headquartered in Recife, Brazil, the company provides businesses with a tool for managing, routing, and tracking couriers in real-time. Its services are aimed at enhancing delivery management and providing control over logistical costs. Sode operates on a business-to-business model, offering its platform to companies that need either on-demand delivery services or a supplemental fleet to their existing logistics.
The platform connects businesses with a network of independent couriers, primarily using motorcycles, who use the Sode app to find and complete delivery jobs. This model provides flexible work opportunities for the couriers and an efficient, scalable last-mile delivery solution for businesses across more than 100 cities in Brazil. Sode generates revenue through its delivery management solutions. The company received early-stage VC funding from investors including Squared Ventures. In a significant milestone, Sode was acquired by the major Brazilian retailer Magazine Luiza on July 26, 2021, and now operates as a subsidiary within the Magalu group.
