Stackhouse is a South Korean startup focused on building and fostering the sneaker enthusiast community through its flagship brand, Sneakerhouse. Founded in 2017 by CEO Heo Yu-jin, the company introduced the concept of 'sneaker entertainment' to the market. Heo, a sneakerhead since his middle school days in the U.S., launched Sneakerhouse as an offline festival for sneaker collectors and fans to connect and trade, transforming a fragmented community into a large-scale cultural event.

The first Sneakerhouse event in 2017 drew around 500 attendees, a number that swelled to approximately 5,000 by its fourth iteration in July 2019, showcasing its rapid growth and appeal within the Korean sneaker scene. The business model centers on organizing these large-scale sneaker festivals, which serve as a marketplace and cultural hub. The company also generates revenue through an online store that sells branded apparel and accessories.

In July 2020, Stackhouse secured a strategic investment from Musinsa, a leading online fashion platform in South Korea. This partnership was aimed at expanding the healthy sneaker ecosystem, combining Stackhouse's cultural event expertise with Musinsa's powerful platform, which had recently launched its own sneaker resale platform, 'Soldout'. In addition to its events, Sneakerhouse operates a large online community via the Naver Cafe platform, which has become a primary hub for information on sneaker releases and discussion in Korea.
