SLEEK EV is an electric two-wheeler manufacturer with headquarters in Singapore and primary operations, including production and sales, in Thailand. The company was established in 2019 by co-founders Kantinan Tunveenukoon (Ben) and Zhang Quan Ong (ZQ). The founders possess a strong background in the electric vehicle industry; Tun was a founding member of Thailand's first electric two-wheeler brand, Swag EV, while both founders previously started GEKO, a fintech startup focused on financing e2Ws that became a top dealer for another major EV brand in Thailand. This prior experience in EV distribution, supply chain management, and financing laid the groundwork for SLEEK EV.

The company targets the mass-market consumer in Southeast Asia, aiming to address challenges like rising transportation costs and urban pollution. Its business model initially focused on distributing various EV brands before shifting to in-house production in September 2022. SLEEK EV employs a completely knocked-down (CKD) assembly process in Thailand, which significantly reduces import taxes and allows for competitive pricing, with models starting around US$1,380. Revenue is generated through the sale of its electric motorcycles via a growing network of dealerships and direct B2B clients. The company has also established strategic partnerships with financial institutions to offer attractive financing options, such as zero down payment plans, to make its products more accessible.

SLEEK EV offers several electric motorcycle models, including the Type-S, Type-E, Type-X, and SLEEK PLAY, built on its proprietary S Drive 1.0 powertrain platform. A key differentiator is the integration of technology; the vehicles are IoT-enabled and connect to the SLEEK EV mobile application. This app provides users with features like keyless start/stop, theft detection, customizable dashboards, and access to carbon credits. The company is also developing a supporting ecosystem, including S Charge, a charging and battery-swapping network, and partnerships to convert existing gas stations into EV service centers. Since its production launch, the company has sold over 1,000 units and has secured Pre-Series A funding from investors including Orzon Ventures, January Capital, A2D Ventures, and Krungsri Finnovate to scale production, for R&D, and to expand its team.
