Sinopec Finance Co., Ltd. (SFC) is a non-bank financial institution established on July 8, 1988, by the former China Petrochemical Corporation. It operates as a centralized cash management and financial services platform for the member companies of the Sinopec Group. The company's shareholders are China Petrochemical Corporation (51%) and China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (49%), with a registered capital of RMB 18 billion.

SFC's business is primarily supervised by the National Financial Regulatory Administration and regulated by other major Chinese financial bodies. The company provides a comprehensive suite of financial services in both Chinese and foreign currencies. These services include taking deposits, lending, entrusted loans, bill acceptance and discounting, settlement and clearance solutions, financial consultancy, and credit assurance for its member companies. It also engages in interbank borrowing, underwrites corporate bonds for member companies, and invests in fixed-income securities. The business model centers on serving the more than 500 member companies within the Sinopec Group, leveraging a large cash pool and an extensive service network with nine branches across China to support Sinopec's diverse business segments, from oil and gas exploration to marketing and sales.

The company's headquarters are in Beijing, and it is led by Chairman Cheng Zhong and General Manager Liu RuDong. Over the years, SFC has achieved significant milestones, including being renamed in March to Sinopec Finance Co., Ltd., and gaining access to the national interbank bond and funding markets. It has consistently ranked in the top tier among finance companies in China based on asset size, revenue, and total profit.
