The firm was co-founded by CEO Xu Ke, who has an 18-year background in the financial big data industry, holding key positions in Chinese and American fintech companies, including serving as president of Shanghai DZH. The founding team comprises professionals with extensive experience from prominent financial and tech entities like Bloomberg, Ant Financial, Pacific Insurance, and Goldman Sachs.
The company focuses on empowering wealth management services for the new middle class in China through a B2B model. It provides a one-stop solution for small and medium-sized financial institutions, encompassing big data analytics, precision marketing, and intelligent risk control. The core of its business is to apply technologies such as cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence to upgrade information services, investment advisory, and transaction services within the wealth management sector. This strategy is designed to address both Chinese investment globally and global investment in China.
Vanadium Intelligence has successfully completed two funding rounds. The first was an angel round in July 2018, raising nearly ten million RMB, and the second was a Pre-A round in January 2019, securing 15 million RMB. Investors include well-known venture capital firms and leaders in the financial industry such as FreeS Fund, Right Angle Capital, and Cachenove & Co. The company has been recognized as a "Shanghai High-tech Enterprise" in 2019 and was selected for the "Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Special Fund" in 2020.
