Founded in August 2020, Seemplicity is a Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity firm operating in the Remediation Operations (RemOps) market. The company was established by cybersecurity veterans Yoran Sirkis (CEO), Ravid Circus (CPO), and Rotem Cohen Gadol (CTO). Their collective experience, spanning over five decades in security leadership roles, revealed a critical need for a more efficient way to manage risk remediation, which was often handled through manual processes and disparate tools. Sirkis previously served as CEO of Covertix, Circus was VP of Customer Success and Products at Skybox Security, and Cohen Gadol held engineering leadership positions at the IDF's Unit 8200 and Argus Cyber Security.
Seemplicity has developed a productivity platform designed to streamline and automate security remediation workflows. The platform addresses the challenge of security teams being inundated with findings from numerous, siloed security tools, such as those for vulnerability management, cloud security, and application security testing (AppSec). It functions by aggregating, normalizing, and deduplicating these findings into a single, unified backlog. This allows for the creation of automated workflows that route remediation tasks to the appropriate teams, such as developers, DevOps, and cloud engineers, complete with the necessary context and clear service-level agreements (SLAs). The platform integrates with existing development and security tools like Jira, ServiceNow, and Slack to fit into established work processes. Recently, Seemplicity has incorporated AI-driven features, such as "Find the Fixer" and "Automatic Scoping," to automatically identify the correct owner for a security finding and logically group assets, respectively.
The company's business model is centered on providing its RemOps platform as a service, targeting a wide range of clients including Fortune 500 companies, publicly traded organizations, software unicorns, and firms in sectors like finance, healthcare, and retail. Revenue is generated through subscriptions to the platform, with pricing indicated to start around $70,000 for an annual contract. Seemplicity came out of stealth mode in May 2022 and has since secured a total of $32 million in funding over two rounds, including a $26 million Series A led by Glilot Capital Partners. The company has reported significant growth, including a 500% increase in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and a 127% expansion of its customer base in the twelve months leading up to March 2024.
