SatoshiSync is a chain-agnostic interoperability protocol designed to enhance liquidity in the Bitcoin Finance (BTCFi) ecosystem. It provides a permissionless, no-code platform for users to deploy, mint, and bridge Runes and Inscriptions—digital assets embedded on the Bitcoin blockchain—across various networks. The protocol aims to solve the limited liquidity challenge in the BTCFi space by enabling seamless cross-chain transfers of assets to and from Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible blockchains like Ethereum, Solana, Base, and Arbitrum.

The project's idealization and market validation phase occurred in the second half of 2023. The initial beta versions of its core products, InscripSync and SatoshiRouter, were launched in the first half of 2024, alongside the native utility token, $SSNC. The team behind SatoshiSync has prior experience at companies including Solana, Covalent, Myria, and Illuvium.

SatoshiSync's platform includes several key components. A central dashboard allows users to manage and track their BTCFi assets across multiple chains from a single interface. InscripSync and RuneSync are no-code tools for creating new Inscriptions and Runes. The SatoshiRouter and RuneBridge functionalities facilitate the cross-chain bridging of these assets, allowing users to access liquidity on different blockchains. The protocol utilizes technologies like Chainlink's Cross-Chain Inscriptions Protocol (CCIP) and LayerZero to ensure interoperability.

The business model generates revenue by charging a fee of 0.10% to 0.20% on assets bridged through the platform. This revenue is used to buy back and burn the native $SSNC token, creating a deflationary mechanism, and to reward users who stake their tokens. $SSNC token holders also gain governance rights, allowing them to participate in the platform's future development, and are eligible for airdrops. The total supply of $SSNC is capped at 1 billion tokens.
