ROBUR Group, established in Munich in 2015, operates as a specialized provider of industrial services tailored for the era of digital transformation and ecological change. The company was founded by Daniel Beringer, Florian Kopp, and Jens Cremer with the vision to redefine the industrial services landscape in Europe. ROBUR delivers a wide array of services across the entire lifecycle of industrial plants. Its offerings span planning, installation, operation and maintenance, as well as relocation and decommissioning. The business is structured to serve several key sectors, including wind energy, water, power, and the process industries. Approximately 80% of its revenue is generated from industrial transformation services like automation, robotics, and electrification, while the remaining 20% comes from maintenance services for both onshore and offshore wind turbines. This dual focus positions the company as a key partner for major industrial clients and a significant player in the renewable energy transition. The company makes money by providing these integrated services to a blue-chip customer portfolio that includes major names like Siemens and GE.
A significant milestone in the company's history was its acquisition by SPIE, a European leader in multi-technical services. The agreement was announced in November 2023 and finalized in March 2024. This transaction established ROBUR as a separate, strategic division within SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa, allowing it to maintain its management team and continue its growth trajectory under a new, larger brand. The acquisition was a strategic move for SPIE to establish a strong presence in the German industrial services market and to enter the wind energy maintenance sector.
