Its business-to-business (B2B) model serves a range of clients, including large corporations like TATA Steel and Siemens, as well as government bodies in Delhi and Uttarakhand. The company was bootstrapped initially, using the founders' personal savings. Recently, in July 2025, Retas secured an investment from the Neev II Fund, a climate and sustainability-focused fund managed by SBI Ventures, to support its expansion, technology development, and market reach.

The company's flagship product is the patented "Rainmaxxx tank," a modular system for collecting, storing, and infiltrating rainwater for later use. These tanks are manufactured from recycled polypropylene and are designed to be a key component in rainwater harvesting, stormwater management, and flood mitigation solutions. Beyond the tanks, Retas Enviro Solutions provides a suite of services that includes watershed management, surface runoff harvesting, and the installation of other components like drainage cells and HDPE grass pavers. The company has successfully captured and stored over 75 billion liters of rainwater through its installations and aims to make rainwater harvesting a mainstream solution across India to combat water scarcity and build resilience to climate change.
