RepScrubs offers an automated vendor management platform for healthcare facilities, focusing on enhancing safety and compliance in perioperative environments. The company was founded in 2013 by Jeff Feuer, a 25-year veteran of medical device sales who identified a critical gap in sterile protocols. Having spent over two decades at Stryker, Feuer observed medical device representatives frequently moving between hospitals and public spaces without changing their scrubs, posing a significant infection risk. The machine then dispenses a single-use, recyclable scrub set made of 3-layer polypropylene, a personalized identification badge, and a red bouffant cap to distinguish them from hospital staff. A key feature is the time-sensitive badge, which expires after a set period (e.g., eight or ten hours) by displaying the word "EXPIRED," ensuring one-time use and preventing re-entry with potentially contaminated attire. This system provides hospitals with a real-time dashboard for tracking vendor traffic, monitoring compliance, and generating automated reports, thereby increasing visibility and security within sensitive areas like operating rooms.
