RePG Enerji Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is a Turkish deep-tech company specializing in renewable energy solutions by converting low-temperature waste heat and latent heat from the atmosphere into electricity. Founded in 2016 by Hasan Ayartürk, the company originated from project competition successes and initial support from TÜBİTAK BİGG, a Turkish grant program. Ayartürk, a mechanical engineer with two decades of R&D experience at corporations like Bosch, Siemens, and Tofaş, leveraged his long-standing interest in renewable energy, which began during his university years, to establish the company.

The firm has developed a proprietary, patented technology that operates without traditional turbines or generators, using the principles of osmosis and diffusion to harness power from unsaturated air and its relative humidity. This core technology enables the production of energy from sources previously considered unviable, such as geothermal heat below 100°C and low-grade industrial waste heat (as low as 55°C). RePG's product portfolio is diverse, addressing multiple markets. For industrial and residential clients, it offers systems that generate electricity and also provide heating and cooling. A significant application is capturing waste heat from factories, data centers, and geothermal sources to produce power, with a 250-kW device capable of powering up to 1000 homes. The company also manufactures range extenders for electric vehicles, propulsion systems for marine and land transport, and even systems that produce fresh water from the air.

RePG operates on a multifaceted business model. The company engages in direct B2B and B2C sales of its energy solutions. It also offers technology licensing and leasing models, providing clients with operational flexibility. A third pillar is a revenue-sharing model for specific renewable energy and water management projects, which creates performance-based partnerships. Since its inception, RePG has secured significant funding from angel investors, including TRANGELS A.Ş. and Keiretsu Forum Turkey, as well as strategic investors and venture capital funds, reaching a total of 99.2 million TL by early 2024 and a valuation of $60 million in a 2023 investment round. The company holds a substantial intellectual property portfolio with numerous national and international patent applications.
