Remediiate is an environmental biotechnology company that converts industrial carbon emissions into high-value biomass through proprietary photonic algae cultivation systems. Unlike traditional carbon capture solutions focused solely on sequestration, Remediiate’s approach delivers a circular model where carbon becomes a feedstock for regenerative products.

The produced algal biomass is rich in protein and nutrients, suitable for use in livestock and aquaculture feed, fertilizers, and soil amendments, replacing environmentally costly inputs such as soy and synthetic chemicals. This model supports food security while contributing to decarbonization in both agriculture and heavy industry.

Remediiate’s platform is modular and scalable, making it deployable at power plants, manufacturing sites, and agricultural operations. Active partnerships with ForFarmers (animal feed) and SIMEC Atlantis Energy (energy decarbonization at Uskmouth Power Station) illustrate its commercial applications. These collaborations aim to help industrial operators achieve carbon neutrality and eventual carbon negativity.

The company has received strong validation, including a £2.1M grant from the UK government’s CCUS Innovation 2.0 programme and $902,000 in later-stage venture capital funding. These resources are accelerating deployments and refining product-market fit for global expansion.
