A significant milestone occurred on May 9, 2016, when Rasa Networks was acquired by Aruba Networks, a subsidiary of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). The acquisition was an "acqui-hire," aimed at integrating Rasa's analytical capabilities into Aruba's own network management solutions. Following the acquisition, Rasa's technology was assimilated into Aruba's product suite, such as NetInsight, and no longer required a separate sensor-based platform, instead leveraging data directly from existing Aruba access points and controllers.
