Radicure is a line of industrial infrared electric conveyor dryers manufactured by M&R Printing Equipment, the world's largest producer of screen printing machinery. The dryers are designed for curing inks on textiles and other substrates within the high-volume screen printing industry, serving clients from small shops to large-scale commercial printers.
The parent company, M&R, was founded in 1985 by Rich Hoffman. Hoffman, who started his career as a mechanic, initially established the business in a garage to service and repair existing screen printing equipment. A year later, the company began manufacturing its own manual presses and, by the late 1980s, introduced the Challenger automatic press, which became a market-leading product. Through organic growth and acquisitions, M&R established itself as a dominant force in the industry, operating from a primary manufacturing facility in Roselle, Illinois, and another in Poland.
The Radicure dryer line exemplifies the company's focus on engineering for performance and efficiency. Its business model is based on the direct sale of equipment and parts to printing businesses globally. The Radicure system utilizes a combination of infrared radiant heat panels and forced hot air to achieve fast and consistent curing. Key technological features include a patented suspended-fabric insulating system for superior heat retention and M&R's CoolSkin™ technology, which keeps the dryer's exterior safe to touch. A Proportional Integral Differential (PID) controller provides precise digital temperature management, maintaining heat within a narrow range of the target temperature for consistent production quality while optimizing energy consumption.
