QwikSpec, legally known as Xlsys Technologies Pvt. Ltd., is a Bengaluru-based company operating in the construction technology sector, offering a cloud-based platform for construction management and analytics. The company was founded in January 2015 by Roby Kurien and Ajith Alexander. The founders' backgrounds are rooted in technology; Alexander previously worked with Cisco Systems and Limitless LLC, while Kurien's experience includes roles at Motorola, Kyocera Wireless, and Sirf Technologies. The idea for QwikSpec originated from Alexander's experiences at Cisco's smart cities division and Nakheel Group in Dubai, where he identified a critical need for real-time data and operational efficiency on construction sites. He partnered with his engineering classmate, Kurien, who brought nearly two decades of IT industry experience to the venture.

The firm provides an end-to-end job site management platform designed to digitize and automate monitoring and supervision processes for large-scale construction projects. Its target clients are real estate developers, contractors, project management companies, and consultants. The business model is SaaS-based, with charges determined by project size and the specific modules deployed. QwikSpec’s platform aggregates data from all project stakeholders via a mobile application, providing analytics and operational insights that help reduce costs, save time, and improve construction quality. Initially, the company developed solutions for automating inspection processes for oil rigs but pivoted to focus on the real estate construction market.

The platform's core features include inspection management, asset tracking, automated report and certificate generation, checklist management, and data analysis. It enables contractors to submit work completion requests and allows engineers to verify and approve them digitally. A key benefit is the ability to operate in areas without internet connectivity and to annotate images for clear visual evidence. The system is designed to handle the entire construction lifecycle, from the structural stage to project handover. QwikSpec has secured clients such as Tata Housing, Mahindra Lifespace, Prestige Group, and Brigade Group. The company has raised a total of $843K in funding over two rounds. An angel round in January 2017 raised $300,000, followed by a seed round of $543,000 in July 2017, led by Brigade Innovations LLP and private investor M George Oommen.
