The story of Qinshift isn't about a garage startup, but a strategic assembly. It begins with the investment group KKCG, founded by Karel Komárek. For years, KKCG's technology pillar, Aricoma, acquired specialized IT companies across Europe, building a powerful portfolio. By 2023, these operations were extensive enough to form two distinct units. In June 2023, the custom software development segment was spun off and rebranded as Qinshift. Led by CEO Ludovic Gaudé, Qinshift integrated six companies, including Seavus and Clearcode, to create a unified force in software design and digital transformation. The goal was to consolidate expertise and compete more effectively on a global scale. The next significant move came swiftly. In early 2024, Qinshift merged with Avenga, another technology firm in the KKCG family. By May 2025, the two companies officially began operating under the single, stronger brand of Avenga, combining their teams and leadership. This final merger created a global tech entity with over 6,000 professionals, marking the culmination of a multi-year strategy to build a major player in the IT services market.
