Qamarero provides an all-in-one SaaS platform for independent bars and restaurants, primarily in Europe. The company was founded in Seville, Spain, in 2022 by Antonio Bustamante. The idea originated from Bustamante's experience as a partner in the "Puerto de Cuba" hospitality group, where he identified a lack of efficient technological solutions connecting customers directly with ordering and payment services. A former professional basketball player, Bustamante leveraged his industry experience and business education, including an MBA, to launch the platform.

The business operates on a subscription-based model, charging clients a monthly fee of between €100 and €130 for access to its integrated system. The platform is designed to digitize and streamline restaurant operations, targeting the 85% of establishments in Spain with fewer than 10 employees. Qamarero's core product combines several tools into a single system, including a Point of Sale (POS) and waiter ordering system, a dynamic digital menu accessible via QR code for customer self-ordering, inventory management, and reservations. It also features AI-powered capabilities like voice-to-order and data analytics. The system aims to increase revenue, reduce wait times, and optimize overall efficiency, with clients reportedly seeing an average revenue increase of over 10%. The platform is also designed to comply with fiscal regulations like VeriFactu.

Since its commercial launch in 2023, the company has grown its client base from 40 to over 500 businesses in about a year. In 2024, over €100 million in orders were processed through the platform. The company has attracted investment from notable figures in the Spanish business and tech community, including the vice president of the Real Betis football club and the founder of Genera Games. Headquartered in Seville, Qamarero employs a team of 35 people and has received backing from the Andalucía Open Future accelerator.
