Protomate Company Limited, established in 2018, is a hardware and artificial intelligence startup based in Thailand. Protomate develops and manufactures consumer electronic products that integrate hardware design, software, and computer vision technology. Its flagship products are the UltraFusion-X1 and UltraFusion-M1 smart motorcycle helmets. The UltraFusion-X1 is distinguished by its quad-camera system, providing a 360-degree panoramic recording capability. These helmets feature an AI-powered blind-spot warning system, high-definition 4K recording, and sensors like an accelerometer and gyroscope to measure movement and track location via GPS. The products are designed to serve various motorcycle lifestyles, including sport racing, touring, and sport touring.

The business model centers on the direct sale of these high-tech helmets to consumers. The helmets connect to the Protomate Mobile Application, allowing users to customize video settings, review footage, and receive software updates. The shell is made of carbon fiber composite, and the helmet utilizes a solid-state battery for enhanced impact resistance. In March 2022, the company secured a Pre-Seed funding round from investors including 500 Startups, ORZON Ventures, and PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company.
