Preclick Corporation, founded in 2001, operated as a provider of digital photo software. The company's core business involved developing solutions that enabled consumers to organize, preserve, print, and share their photo collections.

The firm's business model was centered on providing print-to-retail software for major retailers. It established deep partnerships with leading companies such as Walmart, Costco, Walgreens, and SanDisk, powering the photo printing services for these retail giants. In a significant milestone on February 14, 2007, Preclick secured $1.6 million in a Series A funding round. The investment came from a group of institutional investors including LORE Associates, Mid-Atlantic Angel Group, Robin Hood Ventures, and SJF Ventures.

The company was founded by Brian Smiga, who also served as its CEO. In September 2009, Preclick was acquired by Smilebox Inc., a company specializing in multimedia expressions technology. Following the acquisition, all of Preclick's technology assets, intellectual property, and retail contracts were transferred to Smilebox. Brian Smiga transitioned to the role of vice president of business development and retail at Smilebox, tasked with integrating the assets of both companies to enhance retail photo solutions.
