POWER LASER TECHNOLOGY INC. is a startup that spun out of the Osaka University Institute of Laser Engineering, aiming to commercialize advanced power laser technology. The company was founded in May 2024 by Kazuhisa Yamamoto (Representative Director) and Ryosuke Kodama (Director and Chief Strategy Officer), who also serves as the director of the Institute of Laser Engineering. It was established with the mission to apply the university's decades of research in power lasers to solve real-world problems.
