Porter.id

Porter.id was an on-demand logistics and delivery service provider based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The company was founded in 2015 by Anthony Sadeli and Richard Cahyanto. Initially, the startup focused on food delivery under the name Porter Kaki Lima.

Observing the rapid growth of e-commerce, the company shifted its business model in 2016 to general goods delivery, leveraging its experience in handling fragile items like food. Porter.id operated an integrated on-demand delivery network, connecting users and businesses with a fleet of motorcycle-based delivery partners. This model aimed to provide a more affordable and reliable logistics solution for both individual and corporate clients, including e-commerce sellers. The platform allowed users to schedule, track, and manage shipments through its application. The service included features like item pick-up, with offerings for regular and express delivery across Indonesia.

In October 2020, Porter.id was acquired by Shipper, a larger logistics and warehousing company in Indonesia.
